Blind Corner Corner Cabinet top view

These are straight cabinets with a blank 27″ wide section on either the left or the right.

That blank section allows the next wall of cabinets at 24″ deep to butt into the side of the blind cabinet.

There will be about 3″ of the blind panel showing.  This acts as a filler to keep the door away from the cabinet on the next wall so there is room to open both and not have drawer knobs catching on other doors or hardware.  There will be a 3″ filler attached to the blind panel to move the other set of cabinets away from the blank panel so no clashing occurs.

Blind cabinets shelves are difficult to move due to the need to either crawl up inside or to reach down from the top.  Set the height before installing the countertop!

Dubbed Corner Upper Top View

These upper corner cabinet don’t need fillers unless you are trying to make cabinets fit the area.  The corner cabinet has two fillers on the inside edges of the door opening so the door itself is away from the adjoining cabinets.

As there are no drawers, there is no need for any fillers other than to make the stock cabinet sizes fit the wall.  There are backs in both sides of the cabinets.  The shelves have to be inserted at the same time before trying to set them on the shelf pins.   Leave one shelf sitting on the bottom, put in the top shelve, then put in the bottom shelf.
